Alta Janitorial Services, LLC ("Alta," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Alta Apps mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have regarding your information.

1. Who This Applies To

Alta Apps is an internal business tool used by Alta Janitorial Services employees, contractors, and authorized client partners to manage work orders, RFPs, tickets, contracts, and operational data. Use of the App requires an authorized user account issued by Alta.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information. Name, email address, phone number, employee role, department, profile photo (optional), and permission level.

Operational Data. Tickets, work orders, RFPs, contracts, client records, scope-of-work documents, tasks, time logs, photos and files you upload, and comments you create within the App.

Device Information. Device model, operating system version, app version, language and region, and a unique device identifier used to deliver push notifications.

Usage Data. Pages viewed, actions performed (e.g., status changes, comment posts), timestamps, and crash diagnostics. Used to improve reliability and security.

Location Data. If you opt in, the App may attach approximate location coordinates to photos taken from a job site to verify on-site presence. Location is never tracked in the background.

Camera & Photos. Only when you explicitly select a photo or capture one for an attachment. Photos remain on your device unless you upload them to a record.

We use push notifications to inform you of work-related events (new ticket, assignment change, comment, approaching due date). You can disable push notifications anytime in your device Settings → Notifications → Alta Apps.

We keep your account and operational records for the duration of your employment or engagement with Alta plus the period required by tax, contract, or labor law (generally 7 years). You may request earlier deletion if no legal hold applies.

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access is restricted by role-based permissions enforced in the App and on our servers. We perform regular security reviews and apply industry-standard practices for incident response.

Depending on your location you may have the right to access, correct, export, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. International Transfers

Information may be processed in the United States. By using the App you consent to processing in the United States.

We will update this Policy when our practices change. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
